These small screens come in two versions: desk and wall-mounted. They function the same, but the wall-mounted version includes a few mounting holes and screws for easy installation on a wall or outside beside your doorbell. The device is powered by a micro USB power supply which is included. The cord is three feet in length, but you can use a longer one, depending on where your Relay is mounted.
The original concept for Relay was a WiFi-connected screen you could hang beside your doorbell. This would display messages to inform visitors that you’re not home, that the baby is sleeping, or that you want packages delivered at the doorstep. This version also displays image like holiday messages or a photo of the family. You can make changes to the text or images via an online interface.
