When you have the tools and skills of a maker, simple lights like lamps seem pretty boring when you consider the alternatives. That’s where Bucky Glow comes in. This interactive LED dodecahedron not only offers an interesting way to illuminate a room, but it also allows you to practice your programming and electronics skills with Arduino.
That being said, you can also use the Bucky Glow app to create and display light patterns if you don’t feel like writing the code yourself. The device includes break-out header pins, so you’ll have access to eleven digital I/O pins, a TX pin, an RX pin, a reset pin, and a ground pin.
Using these, you can connect various sensors to the Bucky Glow and elevate your projects with additional input and output methods. The device comes fully assembled and includes an Arduino Nano and a USB mini cable.
