Depending on who you ask, wireless is going to be the best thing or the worst. When it comes to charging, however, no one can deny the convenience of a wireless charger. PulsarLabs need a wireless charging flex antenna for a project and created a custom option that could also benefit other makers.
This wireless charging coil flex antenna with NFC is a small and multipurpose option with a ferrite sheet sticker included. With very few options for wireless charging antennas, this version offers a lightweight choice with NFC and flexibility to be rolled up and used in custom housing.
A precut ferrite sheet sticker comes with the antenna. It has adhesive on both sides so it can be used however needed. The connector is not included. It uses a model HFW4R-1STE1LF, which is found on Digikey, Farnell, and Mouser for low prices.
The antenna measurements are 58×45 mm with 0.2 mm thickness. It can carry 1A of current and works with 13.56MHz NFC. Take a look at this antenna next time you need wireless charging included in your project.
