When it comes time to incorporate a breadboard into your project, things can get messy. We’ve all seen those images with wires snaking across the surface and it looks like pure chaos on the board. Anything that helps alleviate this issue is a welcome addition to any project.
The monoView is here to help keep your beadboard clean and neat. It’s an Arduino Pro Mini clone with a built-in monochrome LCD display. It simplifies any project where you need a display to show information. The creator has also developed two libraries: the monoBasic for text, and the monoPro for lines, rectangles, circles, etc.
The former requires very little RAM, while the latter requires 800 bytes of RAM. The I2C pins, are labelled for connecting modules, while the power, TX, RX, and DTR pins are arranged to make a CP2012 USB to serial module easy to connect.
