A well-lit space is crucial for everything, from reading to soldering and everything in between. The problem is that space itself is also a commodity, so you can’t take up half your workbench with a lamp.
The solution is balance of adaptable and functional, which is exactly what this 3D articulating lamp promises. The inspiration for this design came from a similar articulating wall mount for smartphones by Kenneth Haynie. After obtaining permission from the original designer, the pieces were remodeled to turn it into a lamp for your workbench, lab, or desk.
This version became extremely popular on Thingiverse, one of the largest platforms for sharing models for 3D printing. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer yourself, this kit allows you to obtain all the pieces to build your own.
