While development boards have become incredibly versatile in recent years, it’s always nice to combine as many features and options as you can into as little hardware as possible.
The BOKRA Adafruit Feather Adapter is a major step towards this goal. It allows you use Adafruit Feather (or compatible boards) along with mikroBUS modules. The adapter’s MBL and MBR connectors are mikroBUS signals, which gives you the option to connect another module (or more) with mikroBUS slots. The signals from the Adafruit Feather are output to the P12 connector, thus giving you the ability to use the vast majority of Feather functions without changing programs.
Since the I2C interface is most often used in these devices, the module also has an I2C connector for incorporating external devices and sensors. Even the size makes things easier for you. It conforms to the format of the Raspberry Pi 3A+, which makes it easy to use with the hardware.
Primary applications for this module include ecology monitoring, smart homes, motor control, security systems, and consumer electronics, but there’s potential for many others as well.
