Time to check out this new product on Tindie! The IN-2 Binary Nixie Clock Kit is a build your own kit for a Binary Nixie Clock with 18 x IN-2 Nixie tubes. It’s also possible to build a binary thermometer and hygrometer by connecting a DHT22 sensor.
The motherboard features connectors for Particle Photon and Arduino Nano form factors, making it compatible with 5V/3.3V boards, such as the Arduino Nano, Nano Every, Nano 33 IoT, and the Particle Photon.
Tubes need high-voltage and this comes with a fully assembled Nixie power supply module for 170 V, plus a DS3231 real-time clock for dead-on accuracy. Some soldering is required for the connectors, pin headers, and Nixie tubes sockets. An external power supply is also required.
The kit can be purchased with optional parts, these parts include:
- Transparent Housing
- An Arduino board, either an Arduino Every or an Arduino Nano 33IoT
- Nixie Tubes, 18 x IN-2 Nixie Tubes
