Have you ever thought about making your own analog synthesiser, but been put off by the god-like powers required to design and make your own synth elements? Well fear no more as the Analog Voice Card for a Polyphonic Synthesizer PCB is here to change all that, packed with all the features you need to make a polyphonic synthesiser on one convenient PCB card!
This compact card contains elements such as a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator), VCF (voltage controlled filter), VCA (voltage controlled amplifier) and ADSR (an envelope for sculpting the Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release of the sound). The oscillator is the main sound generator and comes with saw, triangle and pulse waveforms to choose from – stack up multiple cards for a stellar sonic experience! The filter is a pole-mixing multimode filter with 8 filter responses, all listed on the product page – giving it a wealth of dexterity over the audio spectrum!
The unit is sold as a PCB alone, but the seller has a playlist of build guides – and has shared a gorgeous picture of a populated board.
The Analog Voice Card is sold by Polykit who are based in Germany. Check out their video of the one board synthesiser here:
