Fans of the Tindie Blog will be more than aware of CircutiMess, the tech company from Croatia who sell incredible STEM kits for kids to learn all about programming, electronics, and soldering! Their kits have wowed us every time, so prepare for a new release this time encapsulating a drum machine, synthesizer, sampler and more – allow me to introduce you to Synthia DIY Synth Kit!
Synthia comes to you as a kit, which you can build yourself following the colorful and well-designed build guide. It’s powered by a dual core computer (ESP32) and is controlled by 5 buttons, 2 encoders, 2 slide potentiometers and has a microphone for sampling! The main circuit board has a built in amplifier as well as a USB-C connection for power, and it’s all housed in an acrylic case which (like the other CircuitMess gear) is very solid, durable, and built to last! In addition to the sonic possibilities, it also comes with 121 LED lights which can be programmed to make your own light show!
Synthia is designed by CircuitMess who are based in Croatia- a talented group of people who we recently interviewed for the Tindie Blog. Here’s a demo video of it in action:
