Just because you scale something down from the real world doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice realism. Formula 1 radio controlled cars have exquisite detail, but the rest of the world needs to catch up to really recreate the experience.
This 1/5th scale RC F1 Rain Light is a step in the right direction. It looks much better than the usual single blinking LED, and it blinks much closer to the 4Hz/40% duty cycle of the McLaren unit.
It’s designed to operate from a 6V power source and comes in a plastic case with a flat back. You’ll need to use your own methods to mount it on the vehicle. You can also check out the 1/10th scale version if you prefer, but this one offers an extra row of LEDs thanks to the size increase.
