What could be better than an ePaper display for a conference badge or to show static info? You update it once, and the device displays graphics while using no more power. The Badgy IoT display takes this several steps further and adds an ESP8266 module, allowing it to update the screen and interface with WiFi devices, powered by only a rechargeable LIR2450 coin cell battery.
Badgy features 2.9″ 296×128 display, allowing it to fit nicely on your shirt as a traditional conference badge, however, it can also be updated with pertinent info over WiFi as a weather display, news feed, or scoreboard. Even more exciting, with its ESP8266 module, tactile switch, and button, it can be used actively as a WiFi remote control or even as a deauth device if you so desire. You can even use it with IFTTT in order to trigger or display events in a wide variety of situations!
